"A fun way to teach kids how to draw and color"
The program Tux Paint is a fun art program for preschool-aged kids to learn how to color and draw. And not only will they get to practice their artistic skills, they’ll also learn how to use the PC, the mouse, and how to manage the different elements on the screen. It’s an excellent program to foster your child’s creativity without a mess, and learn about computers at the same time.
Tux Paint has a simple, kid-friendly interface. On the left, you’ll find a tool bar with everything you need to create a work of art: colors, brushes, fun stamps, eraser, etc. On the right is the canvas where your child will set their creativity free. They can clear the canvas to start over whenever they want, or you can save their artwork on your computer. You could even print some of their masterpieces out to hang on the refrigerator or by your desk at work.
The stamps are a lot of fun because, besides making an image, they also make different sounds each time your child uses them, motivating them to try all the stamps and play around with different combinations of pictures and sounds.
